As the light started to disappear at Point Reyes, these two bull elk began sparring along the ridge.
There wasn't much light left, but that ended up being what I liked most about the scene. Their bodies disappeared almost completely into silhouette, leaving just their shapes and antlers against the deep blue sky.
One of those moments I was glad I stayed out just a little longer for.
